More than 27,000 healthcare workers are poised to receive two one-off payments worth up to £3,000

Community nurses, sexual health workers, speech and language therapists physical therapists and other frontline staff not directly contracted to the NHS on an Agenda for Change contract will be awarded a minimum of £1665 (PA).

This was reported today by the Department of Health and Social Care that more than 27,000 healthcare workers could receive two one-off payments totaling as much as £3,000.

Community nurses, sexual health workers, speech and language therapists physical therapists physical therapists and other frontline employees in non-NHS organizations are expected to benefit from this payment which is guaranteed at a minimum of £1,665.

According to DHSC, there are social enterprises charities private providers local authorities where people play important roles in health care delivery.

Last year over a million NHS staff received four one-off payments plus five percent increment in salary.

Nevertheless only those employed by NHS bodies got these benefits.

The DHSC has announced that one of these recent payouts under the wider NHS pay deal recognizes efforts made by medical professionals to shrink waiting lists.
